Closing Our Doors

Yes the rumors you have heard are TRUE, after 29 years of business, Estates Etcetera by Reba Justice will be closing. This is great news for you people that want high quality furniture as discount prices. All of the items left in my store have been marked down from 25%-75% on everything currently in the store! That’s correct; everything has been marked down for closing.

What a great gift to my loyal customers that have come to rely on us for quality furnishings! I can think of no better way to start the year. After the store is closed, I will continue to advise my customers regarding interior design of their home. Over the years I have discovered that is my true passion, so if you are needed that kind of assistance after the store closes, just give me a call. In the meantime, you can cash in on some GREAT DEALS for our remaining merchandise on the floor.

Seasons are changing again despite the stretch of 90 degree temperatures. Looking at the calendar, our holiday season is just around the corner. Now is the time to access your dining room and see if you can really accommodate your family this year. Is that old table worn, or did you move into a home with a real dining room now and no formal table? We have you covered at Estates Etcetera! We currently have everything from a large rectangular glass table with traditional chairs to a smaller mahogany traditional table and chairs on our showroom floor.

Whether your ideal table is modern, traditional or French we have it hear for you. All of our selections are first quality furniture that has been gently used for phenomenal prices. Do you have a smaller group of relatives? Then one of these tables could be the perfect one for you.

Asian Inspired Accessories

Reba selects only the finest furniture and accessories for consignment in her store. As a result, she will have many unique accessories at various times in the store. Currently, she has a collection of Asian inspired pieces to accent your home’s décor. Shown on the left side is a beautiful brass vase with a hand painted Asian motif. The vase is about 2.5 feet in height, a perfect size for an accent piece on your coffee table, fireplace or entry table.
 
Another colorful accent piece is this red and gold storage trunk. It is made to look like a real steamer trunk, but actually features doors on the front that open into a two-shelf storage compartment. It could serve as storage for your living room, kitchen or bedroom. It is about 3 ft in width, 2.5 feet tall and 18’ deep. With a highly lacquered finish, it could also serve as a coffee table in your living room or family room.

What are your plans for the 4th this year? One thing is for certain, Americans know how to celebrate their independence! You will most likely be doing something special whether watching a parade, fireworks or just having a backdoor barbeque with your friends. We are a patriotic country and love to celebrate with our family and friends. If your holiday plans include shopping for quality furniture at a reasonable price, don’t forget to come by Estates Etcetera to compare our gently used furniture with the new mass produced furniture you might find on sale out there.

Very few stores these days tend to carry the quality furniture that was mainstream 20 years ago. On close inspection, it is rare to see all wooden pieces with tongue and grove construction or an upholstered piece with 8-way hand-tied workmanship. Furniture tends to be mass produced these days and may feature substitutions like particle board with a laminate finish. Be sure to closely inspect that great 4th of July price on a bedroom suite. Detailed construction and quality workmanship on your pieces means value and durability for your furnishings. Remember, furniture was meant to last several lifetimes. Memorial Day Wishes

This year at Estates Etcetera, we will be spending the day celebrating with our family and friends. The store will be closed on Monday however will be maintaining normal business hours for the remainder of the week. Are you having friends over to your home for the holidays? You can visit the store before Memorial Day to pick up those items that will enhance your home's furnishings.

We are getting new merchandise weekly at the store. We have an assortment of patio furniture for your outdoor living areas. One of our newest consignments is this lovely Italian dinnerware.
